Further Seems Forever is Bringing Emo Back

Yeah, that’s right. Chris Carabba had a band before he picked up an acoustic guitar and fans mandated sing-a-longs from Dashboard Confessional. That band is Further Seems Forever and their new record, Penny Black comes out in 77 days (October 23rd if you’re not counting like I am) and their label, Rise Records, posted an “album teaser” of snippets. Now I’m not one to normally care for previews because I usually think “What’s the point?” but this is three minutes and 50 seconds of GLORY.

The original line-up has only made one other record together, The Moon Is Down, that was released in 2001.
