Justin Timberlake Lyric Video for “Suit & Tie,” His Face Makes the Song Slightly Bearable

It’s been a struggle trying to come to terms with the inner turmoil I have gone through over the new Justin Timberlake song, “Suit & Tie.” Our Prince of Pop took a 6 year, 4 month, and 2 day hiatus between his last solo record FutureSex/LoveSounds and the release of this song has left a shy portion of us afraid to say that we…don’t like it? (But we love you, JT! We’ll never forget “Cry Me a River!”)

Here’s the lyric video for “Suit & Tie” which, as much as I tried, doesn’t make me like the song anymore. There’s forced rhyme and blaine repetition of the same asinine lyrics. The best part is Justin reminding us of his falsetto and the worse part is the exaggerated display of his wedding ring. Whatever.

Also, as this is explicitly a “lyric video”, does that replace the classic “here’s a plot cut with performance shots” music video? (Remember “What Goes Around Comes Around?” It’s at the bottom of this post.)

Fine, we see your wedding ring and perfect jawline.

Nice MJ shoes, JT. Thumbs up.
